I’m happy to share that my article “Valuing Maintenance Strategies for Fusion Plants as Part of a Future Electricity Grid” has been published in the Journal of Fusion Energy. This paper explores how maintenance outages strategically timed with the seasons could be used to significantly reduce their impact on the value of the plant to the wider electric grid (and on plant revenues).
